We were asked to build a visual identity for a small, family-run Italian deli. What we delivered was a world.
We named it after their grandfather, so every plate, every sign, every glass of wine would carry his name forward. From there, the identity left the screen and went into the workshop. We hand-painted the signage. We hand-built the collateral, the cannoli cart, the tables, the bar counter, the lot, so the brand wasn't something applied to the space but something the space was made of.
The result felt less like a deli with a logo and more like a place that had always been there. Authentic, lived-in, and unmistakably theirs.
What started as a deli has since blossomed into a full trattoria, the brand growing right alongside the family that built it.
