As Lead Art Director, I shaped a Christmas campaign cast from the greatest talent pool in the country — our very own Woolies team, from the shop floor to head office. They may not have been pitch-perfect, but they were undeniably authentic and magical, and we made that honesty the heart of the work. Around them, we used Generative AI to conjure a fun-tastical world that amplified the passion poured into every Woolies Christmas product and detail — then set it all to an iconic summer anthem, reimagined proudly South African. The result is a Christmas that's joyful and homegrown at heart, and unmistakably premium in every frame.
